Member of the Paris bar, Pierre-Philippe Boutron-Marmion is specialized in criminal law (white collar crimes, criminal law in the work environment, and all misdemeanors and felonies). He developed an expertise in media related misdemeanors (libel, offense, privacy) and e-reputation. He also acts on cases related to complex business litigation, that may involve a legal risk for firms and their executives.
Through his legal practice, as much as his academic background, he developed a transversal view over complex issues or situation where criminal law and business law converge.
He advises a wide spectrum of clients, individuals or corporate entities, French and international. Moreover, Pierre-Philippe Boutron-Marmion regularly provides training in white collar law and dedicates a part of his activity to pro-bono missions.
University education and professional training
Trained from both French (August & Debouzy) and English law firms (Linklaters, Herbert Smith), he joined Vigo law firm to work with Emmanuel Daoud’s team, as an associate. Then, he decided to build his own law firm.
Then, he decided to built his own law firm.
He pursued his studies at Panthéon – Assas University and graduated with a master’s degree in litigation, arbitration and alternative means of settlements (2009). Simultaneously, he pursued a legal training in Paris – Dauphine University and obtained a master’s degree (221) in business taxes (2008).
He gives lessons at the École de Formation du Barreau de Paris, which trains the future lawyers of the Paris bar.
He is a member of “ADAP”, an association which concerns lawyers in criminal law.

Laure Boutron-Marmion
Partner
Laure Boutron-Marmion is a member of the Paris Bar and advises clients in criminal and disciplinary matters in front of professional orders, as well as in contractual and tort litigation. She has particular expertise in litigation related to heritage (inheritance law and matrimonial property regimes). In particular, she has handled several cases of the firs rank in juvenile and family criminal law.
Finally, she is regularly called upon to intervene in cross-border disputes.
She is very committed to teaching and training, and devotes part of her time to this, both with law students and professionals.

Trained from both French (Bredin Prat) and English law firms (Proskauer Rose, Mayer Brown), (Linklaters, Herbert Smith), first of all, she choosed to practise law surrounded by lawyers before the council of state and the supreme court in order to be familiar with the higher techniques of law. Strengthened by this experience and accustomed to complex private litigations, she decided to create her own practice in 2015 before founding Boutron-marmion partners. Laure Boutron-Marmion graduated from Panthéon-Assas University with a master’s degree in private law. She also pursued an LLB at UCL (University College London).
She is a member of l’Antenne des mineurs du barreau de Paris, in order to assist before the juvenile court, the juvenile judge or the investigate judge, minor children, who have whether commited an offence or have been a victim.
She is a member of “ADAP”, an association which concerns lawyers in criminal law.

Associate
Laura TATON is a member of the Paris bar. She practices mainly in Criminal law, general and white-collar crime, domains in which she is specialized. She intervenes in civil and business litigation as well.
She advises individuals and corporate entities, both French and international.

Trained from French law firms (FIDAL, Schapira Associés, Témime associés), she then joined the firm Boutron-Marmion Associés as an associate.
She pursued her studies at Aix-Marseille University and graduated with a master’s degree in “Fight against financial and organised crime”. Simultaneously, she completed her education with another diploma of finance and criminal law (Aix-Marseille University).
She obtained an AMF certification (Autorité des Marchés Financiers, Financial Markets Authority) attesting her competence in the domains of supervision and regulation of financial market.

Specialized in criminal law and business criminal law, Julie Bansard also operates in business litigation.
As a member of the Paris Bar, she assists both French and international individuals and companies.

Julie Bansard has been previously trained in French law firms (De Castro & Stasse, Feugère Avocat) and then joined Boutron-Marmion Partners as an associate.
She graduated with a Master II in International Criminal and Business Law from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris I and a DU in Criminological Sciences from the University of Panthéon-Assas Paris II.
