Pierre-Philippe Boutron-Marmion is a solicitor at the Paris Bar specialising in criminal business law and general criminal law. He has also developed expertise in reputation protection (e-reputation/press law). He is regularly called upon to work on high-profile criminal cases and has been involved in the Deliveroo, Lafarge, Apollonia and Hermès cases, among others.

He has developed specific expertise in anticipating criminal risk.

His professional practice leads him in particular to regularly His professional practice involves advising and supporting economic and political leaders, employees, institutions and companies at all stages of criminal proceedings, and taking a cross-disciplinary approach to complex situations and crises.

University education and professional training

Trained from both French (August & Debouzy) and English law firms (Linklaters, Herbert Smith), he joined Vigo law firm to work with Emmanuel Daoud’s team, as an associate. Then, he decided to build his own law firm.

Then, he decided to built his own law firm.

He pursued his studies at Panthéon – Assas University and graduated with a master’s degree in litigation, arbitration and alternative means of settlements (2009). Simultaneously, he pursued a legal training in Paris – Dauphine University and obtained a master’s degree (221) in business taxes (2008).

He gives lessons at the École de Formation du Barreau de Paris, which trains the future lawyers of the Paris bar.

He is a member of “ADAP”, an association which concerns lawyers in criminal law.

Laure Boutron-Marmion

Partner

Laure Boutron-Marmion is a member of the Paris Bar and specializes in criminal defense and business litigation, supporting executives and their companies in high-stakes cases.

She is regularly called upon to intervene in cross-border disputes.

In addition, recognized for her particular expertise in the defense of minors, she handles several high-profile cases in juvenile and family criminal law. She also assists parents or minors suffering from domestic violence and its civil and criminal consequences, such as the risk of provisional placement by the public prosecutor’s office or before the juvenile court.

Highly committed to protecting minors online from child abuse and all forms of cyber harassment, she founded Algos Victima, which fights to hold accountable companies, particularly social networking sites, that develop algorithms harmful to minors’ health.

Committed to teaching and training, she devotes a great deal of her time to both law students and professionals.

University education and professional training.

Trained from both French (Bredin Prat) and English law firms (Proskauer Rose, Mayer Brown), (Linklaters, Herbert Smith), first of all, she choosed to practise law surrounded by lawyers before the council of state and the supreme court in order to be familiar with the higher techniques of law. She decided to create her own practice in 2015 before founding Boutron-marmion partners.

Laure Boutron-Marmion graduated from Panthéon-Assas University with a master’s degree in private law. She also pursued an LLB at UCL (University College London).

She is a member of l’Antenne des mineurs du barreau de Paris, in order to assist before the juvenile court, the juvenile judge or the investigate judge, minor children, who have whether commited an offence or have been a victim.

She is also a member of the Association des Avocats Pénalistes (ADAP) and of the Conseil d’Orientation Stratégique de l’Institut des droits fondamentaux du Numérique (IDFRights).


She founded Algos Victima.

Specialising in general criminal and business law, Eve Defendini also acts as a solicitor.

Juliette Fontan is a member of the Paris bar. She practices mainly in Criminal law, general and white-collar crime, domains in which she is specialized. She intervenes in civil and business litigation as well. 

Pending her admission to the Paris Bar, she assists both French and international individual and corporate clients.

University education and professional training

After training at Reinhart Marville Torre (Paris) and Quinn Emmanuel Urquhart & Sullivan (Paris), she joined Boutron-Marmion Associates as an associate.

After studying at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), she obtained a Master II degree in criminal law and criminal sciences (Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II).

Antony Martins is a member of the Paris bar. He practices mainly in Criminal law, general and white-collar crime, domains in which he is specialized. He intervenes in civil and business litigation as well. 

He advises individuals and corporate entities, both French and international.

Antony Martins trained with Ernst & Young (Paris), Lefosse Advogados (Brazil) and Cohen & Gresser LLP (Paris), before joining Boutron-Marmion Associés as an associate.

After completing his studies at Bordeaux IV University, he graduated with a a master’s degree in Corporate Criminal Law and Compliance (Paris-Saclay University) and a a master’s degree in International Criminal Law (Lille II University).

Pauline Gagnier

Associate

Pauline Gagnier specializes in general and business criminal law.

A member of the Paris Bar, she assists both French and international corporate and individual clients.

University education and professional training

Pauline Gagnier previously trained with the Paris Court of Appeal’s Public Prosecutor’s Office and the European Commission’s Competition Directorate-General, before joining Boutron-Marmion Associés as an associate.

She holds a Master 2 in European market and regulatory law from the Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) and a bilingual Master 2 in French and Spanish law from the Université Paris-Nanterre.

Mathilde Bekkat-Lanoiselée

Mathilde Bekkat-Lanoiselée practises both corporate criminal law and general criminal law.

Pending her admission to the Paris Bar, she assists both French and international individual and corporate clients.

Trained with Bougartchev Moyne Associés, he has joined Boutron-Marmion Associés for the next 6 months.

She holds a Master II in Financial Criminal Law (Université Cergy Paris Université), as well as a DU in Corporate Insolvency Law (Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne).
